San Leandro Housing Protection Polices Outreach Scope of Services <br />Page 3 <br />•Informa�onal handout <br />•Two (2) social media posts to publicize event <br />Task 2.3 Listening Sessions and Focus Groups <br />MIG will work with the City staff to develop up to four, one-and-a-half hour focus groups or listening <br />sessions to hear from community groups. The focus groups or listening sessions will involve key <br />stakeholders such as renter associa�ons/advocacy groups, housing provider associa�ons/advocacy <br />groups, and mobile home park owners and residents. The groups may range in size from 10 to 30 people. <br />The City will provide a contact list to use for recruitment. Together with the City, MIG will develop a <br />facilitator’s guide and detailed ques�ons for each session. Depending on the size, composi�on, and <br />objec�ves of each group, MIG will recommend whether a focus group or listening session format would <br />be more appropriate. To encourage par�cipa�on, MIG will provide a $50 gi� card to all atendees. MIG <br />assumes all focus groups/listening sessions will be conducted in-person and will provide a skilled <br />facilitator and note taker for each group. <br />The MIG Team will develop text and graphic materials to ensure the content is accessible and <br />understandable and to bring the discussion to life. Using plain language and engaging visuals, we expect <br />these materials to help convey the project messages and to elicit engaged par�cipa�on. City staff will <br />have the opportunity for one review of all dra�s documents before they are finalized. <br />Deliverable(s) <br />•Facilitator’s Guide <br />•Mee�ng materials and tools <br />Task 2.4 Summary Memo <br />Based on the input from the community mee�ngs, listening sessions, and focus groups, MIG will dra� a <br />summary memo of findings.
