San Leandro Housing Protection Polices Outreach Scope of Services <br />Page 2 <br />•Final website <br />Task 1.4 Ongoing Project Management <br />Key MIG staff will meet virtually with the City of San Leandro project lead for one hour twice a month to <br />check on project progress and problem-solve any obstacles that may arise. This assumes a four-month <br />period of ac�ve engagement (8, one-hour mee�ngs). <br />Deliverable(s) <br />•Mee�ng agendas and follow-up ac�on items <br />Phase 2. Public Engagement <br />Task 2.1 Mailings and Notices <br />MIG will write and design a postcard-style mailings for upcoming engagement opportuni�es, for up to <br />eight mailings. MIG will provide the design to the City, and the City will oversee prin�ng and mailing. <br />MIG will provide one round of City review for the mailings. <br />Deliverable(s) <br />•Postcard-style mailings <br />Task 2.2 Community Meetings <br />MIG will convene two, two-hour public community mee�ngs to provide an opportunity for the public to <br />learn more about the rent control measure and to offer input. These mee�ngs will be public, with the <br />expecta�on of approximately 100 people in atendance at each mee�ng. MIG will work with City staff to <br />iden�fy clear mee�ng objec�ves and desired outcomes, with tailored mee�ng ac�vi�es. <br />MIG will provide a hybrid mee�ng experience so that people may par�cipate both in person and online. <br />MIG staff will collaborate to ensure a smooth hybrid experience by providing a lead facilitator, on-site <br />tech operator, remote tech operator, and graphic recorder. The in-person por�on of the mee�ng will <br />have a dedicated on-site tech support person who will set up and run microphones and camera. MIG <br />staff will provide a designated online facilitator who will operate the remote technology and ensure that <br />online par�cipants are able to share feedback and ask ques�ons. The in-person por�on of the mee�ng <br />will have a dedicated on-site tech support person who will set up and run microphones and camera. <br />Working with City staff, MIG will create materials to ensure the mee�ng is engaging and informa�ve, <br />including a slide deck, informa�onal handout, and interac�ve ac�vi�es such as live polling. MIG will also <br />produce two social media posts and digital adver�sements to promote the town halls, and the City will <br />publicize the town halls on the City website and social media pages.
