<br /> <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Last revised 6/16/2023 <br />Ruby’s Place for CAP Grant: Support for Homeless Survivors of Exhibit A – Page 1 of 2 <br />Domestic Violence <br />EXHIBIT A <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />The emergency shelter program aims to stabilize individuals and families in crisis and facilitate their <br />transition into safe permanent housing. <br /> Objectives: <br />1. Providing a comfortable and safe residence (average stay: 9 months) <br />2. Offering food, clothing, and other basic necessities, psychotherapy, living skills groups, case <br />management services, and transportation <br />3. Supporting children exposed to violence through counseling and group support <br />4. Assisting families and individuals in securing affordable permanent housing with subsidized rents <br />through state and federal grants at Ruby's Place <br /> <br />Service Components: <br />1. Basic Needs Support: Provision of shelter, food, clothing, and other concrete needs to 30 heads of <br />households associated with San Leandro. <br />2. Case Management: Voluntary one-on-one meetings with a Case Manager to support the planning and <br />implementation of applications for referrals. <br />3. Therapeutic Services: Voluntary support groups and counseling for adults and children provi ded by a <br />Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. <br />4. Children's Program: Education and play therapy sessions offered to children twice per week, supervised <br />by the Children's Program Assistant. <br />5. Housing: Access to on-site transitional housing at Ruby's Place or referral to the rapid rehousing <br />program with ongoing support and rental subsidies. <br /> <br />Goals: <br />1. Number of adults and children served within the shelter: 30 <br />2. Number of adults and children receiving basic needs support: 30 <br />3.
