(a)The Contractor shall use local products and suppliers to the extent possible. <br />905 Equipment Refueling and Repair <br />(a)The Contractor shall refuel in a safe manner to protect against accidental spills. Limit <br />refueling to specific and limited areas on a site. Measures shall be taken to prevent, control, <br />and clean-up spills. Clean-ups shall be immediate, automatic and routine and performed by <br />a trained staff member or a licensed cleaning company. Contact the local emergency <br />response team agencies to report all minor or major spills. Contractor shall be aware of and <br />abide by Spare-the Air Day fueling advisories. <br />(b)Repair of equipment on site shall be limited and shall be considered minor repair to keep <br />the equipment operating during the site visit. Major repairs shall be conducted at the <br />Contractor’s work site. <br />906 Lost and Found <br />(a)Personal property found by the Contractor on City property or in public right-of-way shall <br />be reported to the Public Works representative immediately and turned into the Public <br />Works Department on the same day that the property is found. Public Works can be <br />contacted at 510-577-3440 to verify access to Service Center on Chapman Road. <br />907 Location Maps provided by the City <br />a)The City has created maps [Google Earth View] depicting locations for services. These <br />maps should be used as a reference, but not as a substitution for site visits by the <br />Contractors to view current conditions, square footages, etc. The City has also provided <br />illustrative park maps that were developed for City publicity purposes which may also be <br />useful. <br />b)The City is not responsible for any missing location or inaccuracies. These are designed <br />to aid the submittal of a Proposal and not to be used in lieu of site visits and in person <br />observations by the Proposers. <br />c)The Median Location maps have been created using maps provided by EBMUD in the <br />Water Budget reports and therefore only show irrigated areas and square footages of <br />irrigated areas. They do not represent the entirety of the area to be maintained. <br />Attachment B
