ITEMS TO BE DEMOLISHED ARE THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY AND SHOULD BE PROMPTLY REMOVED FROM THE <br />PROJECT SITE AND LEGALLY DISPOSED. DO NOT ALLOW MATERIALS TO ACCUMULATE AT THE PROJECT SITE. <br />4. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PROTECT EXISTING FINISHES TO REMAIN DURING THE COURSE OF <br />CONSTRUCTION. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE PROTECTION AT COMPLETION OF THE WORK AND CLEAN, <br />REPAIR, OR REPLACE (E) FLOOR FINISHES AS REQUIRED. <br />5. CONTRACTOR SHALL DISCONNECT, CAP, RE-ROUTE OR REMOVE ALL EXISTING UTILITIES WHICH ARE NOT SHOWN TO <br />REMAIN. <br />6. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL ERECT AND MAINTAIN RUSTPROOF PARTITIONS AS REQUIRED TO PREVENT THE <br />SPREAD OF DUST AND FUMES TO OTHER PARTS OF THE BUILDING AND THOSE AREAS TO REMAIN UNCHANGED. UPON <br />COMPLETION, REMOVE PARTITIONS AND RESTORE FINISHES TO MATCH ADJACENT. <br />7. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, DISCONNECT & REMOVE ALL UNUSED POWER, DATA, VIDEO, AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS <br />WIRING, CONDUIT, AND EQUIPMENT FROM WALLS, CEILING, AND FLOORS RELOCATING EQUIPMENT AS INDICATED. <br />8. THE PLUMBING SUB-CONTRACTOR SHALL DISCONNECT, CAP, RE-ROUTE OR REMOVE ALL EXISTING PLUMBING UTILITIES <br />AS INDICATED AND CAP BOTH. <br />9.
