<br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 4 <br />PERSONNEL STANDARDS <br /> <br />102.4 Staff Assignments <br /> <br />(a) The City of San Leandro shall, throughout the life of the contract, have the right of <br />reasonable rejection and approval of staff assigned to the work by the Contractor. <br />If the City of San Leandro reasonably rejects staff, the Contractor must provide <br />replacement staff satisfactory to the City of San Leandro in a timely manner and at <br />no additional cost to the City. The day-to-day supervision and the control of the <br />Contractor's employees are the responsibility solely of the Contractor. <br /> <br />102.5 Staffing and Supervision <br /> <br />(a) The Contractor shall employ at all times sufficient staffing to perform the work as <br />specified herein. The Contractor or qualified representative shall be reasonably <br />accessible to the City at all times during working hours. <br /> <br />(b) Laborers performing work shall be directly employed and supervised by the <br />Contractor, unless use of subcontractors has been agreed upon between the <br />Contractor and the City prior to the start of work. Contractor’s staff shall be <br />sufficiently trained and qualified to perform the services, as specified. The <br />Contractor shall perform management and technical supervision as required. The <br />Contractor shall provide enough personnel to perform all work in accordance with <br />these specifications. Each work crew shall include at least one individual wh o <br />speaks the English language proficiently. <br /> <br />(c) The Contractor will be expected to know the streets within the City of San Leandro <br />so that work can be performed independently. Contractor’s staff should have access <br />in the field to software to locate streets [I.e. Google maps] and the electronic maps <br />that the City has provided. <br /> <br />102.6 Uniforms <br /> <br />(a) The Contractors employees must wear uniforms consisting of coordinated pants, <br />shirts, T-shirts, vests and/or hats. Uniform articles are to be of proper fit, clean and <br />professional in appearance and must be provided by the Contractor at their own <br />expense. If hats are worn, they must be company provided hats matching the <br />uniform and they must be worn with the brim facing forward and straight. All attire <br />must be consistent among employees. <br /> <br />(b) The company name or easily identifiable logo must be visible from the front of the <br />uniform and from the rear to ensure contract staff can be easily identified by City <br />staff.
