IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2023-150 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO CITY COUNCIL TO AUTHORIZE AMENDMENTS TO A CONTRACT WITH FEHR AND PEERS UP TO 25% ($43,076.00) OF THE ORIGINAL CONTRACT AMOUNT, APPROPRIATE $100,500.00 OF MEASURE BB BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUNDS TO THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN MASTER PLAN UPDATE PROJECT, AND TO REAPPROPRIATE $15,000.00 FROM THE BIKE AND PED SUPPORT PROGRAM TO THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN MASTER PLAN UPDATE PROJECT WHEREAS, Resolution No. 2023-115 was passed on September 5, 2023 authorizing the City Manager to execute a Consulting Services Agreement (CSA) with Fehr & Peers for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update project for a maximum compensation amount of $172,307.00; and WHEREAS, amendments to agreements to respond to unforeseen conditions are a normal aspect of public contracting; and WHEREAS, additional funding is required to complete the project. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to approve amendments to the Consulting Services Agreement with Fehr & Peers for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update project for up to 25% or ($43,076.00) of the original contract amount; and That $100,500.00 of Measure BB Bicycle and Pedestrian funds are appropriated from fund balance to account 153-36-351 for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update project; and That $15,000.00 of Measure BB funds are reappropriated from account 153-36-507 for the Bike and Ped Support Program to account 153-36-351 for the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan Update project.
