IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2024-018 RESOLUTION TO INCREASE THE AGREEMENT AMENDMENT CAP AUTHORIZATION FROM 15% TO 40% (FROM $54,300 TO 144,795; AN INCREASE OF $90,495) TO THE ORIGINAL TOTAL NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $361,998 WITH LEE & RO, INC., FOR THE DESIGN OF THE SECONDARY EFFLUENT LINE REPLACEMENT AND DAVIS STREET MANHOLE REPLACEMENT, PROJECT NO. 2018.6000 WHEREAS, an agreement dated April 20, 2020, exists between the City of San Leandro and Lee & Ro; and WHEREAS, the City authorized agreement amendments be capped at 15% of the original total not to exceed amount; and WHEREAS, staff recommends an increase to the agreement amendment cap authorization to 40% of the original total not to exceed amount; and WHEREAS, staff recommends an extension to the term of the contract to December 31, 2025. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of San Leandro City Council does RESOLVE as follows: That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to negotiate and approve agreement amendments to the consulting services agreement up to 40% (or $144,795) of the original total not to exceed amount; and That the extension of the term of the contract to December 31, 2025, is herein approved.
