The Governor must submit a request within 30 days of <br />the start of the incident. <br />Emergency Operations Center Activation <br />During a response to a complex or large-scale incident, the EOC may ac�vate to coordinate response opera�ons <br />and support situa�onal awareness among response partners. When ac�vated, the EOC communicates with field <br />responders at the ICP, ac�vated DOCs, the Alameda County OA EOC, other jurisdic�ons’ EOCs, and non- <br />governmental partners through established communica�on pathways. <br />Based on the circumstances of the incident, the EOC will ac�vate at a pre-determined ac�va�on level. Generally, <br />the more complex an incident’s response needs are, the more posi�ons will be ac�vated within the EOC.
