<br /> <br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between April 1, 2024 <br />City of San Leandro and Impec Group—Exhibit D Page 24 of 36 <br />a. Contract specification cleaning requirements, including the use of Green Seal certified <br />cleaning products and other methods (micro-fiber clothes, etc.) to reduce the use of <br />chemicals. This training will be performed at each facility. Each employee shall be required <br />to sign a copy of the specifications to acknowledge cleaning requirements. <br />b. Proper cleaning techniques are required to meet the standards of the specifications, in <br />accordance with this contract. <br />c. Specific location training. Please note that staff assigned to the Jail will require additional <br />training, both in police procedures and in cleaning technique. <br />2. Prior to commencement of this contract, the Contractor shall verify with the City’s Building <br />Supervisor that all training and orientations have been completed. <br />3. All employees hired after the start of the Contract shall be trained in the same manner stated <br />above. <br />1130 Cleaning Schedule <br />1. Cleaning shall not start earlier than thirty (30) minutes after the end of normal business hours as <br />related to each facility. These times are subject to change under the direction of the City’s Public <br />Works Director. <br />2. The Contractor shall provide the City’s Buildings Supervisor a monthly schedule showing the staff <br />assigned to each location and approximate times. <br />3. In the event an evening meeting is being conducted in a facility, the Contractor shall be responsible <br />for proper cleaning of the used area, provided the meeting ends by 11:00 PM. All cleaning shall <br />be completed before the start of the next normal business day. <br />4. For extra work, the City will request from the Contractor a schedule for that work to be done. <br />Sufficient time in advance will be needed to notify facility users and be sure there are no conflicts <br />between the work and the facility staff/users. If the Contractor has any reason to know that their <br />services will adversely disrupt the facility staff/users, the Contractor shall make the City aware. <br />5. The Contractor shall maintain a schedule for annual interior window washing. Note: Exterior window <br />washing is an Extra service and not included in the base bid. <br />1140 Performance Standards <br />1. In addition to the requirements and specifications outlined in Section A-1, the following are added to <br />the Janitorial Services scope of work: <br /> <br />a. Major problems require immediate attention and should be responded to and corrected <br />within two (2) hours. Examples of major problems include, but are NOT limited to: toilets not <br />cleaned, not stocking sufficient paper products in large areas, offices not cleaned, or trash <br />not removed, etc. The City’s Buildings Supervisor or designee shall have authority to classify <br />a complaint as major or minor. <br />b. Minor problems require correction during the next day’s normal clean up. Examples of minor <br />problems include, but are not limited to: a trash can not emptied, a small area not vacuumed, <br />toilet paper in one stall out, etc. <br /> <br />2. Failure to clean an entire building or site shall result in a separate deduction for nonperformance.
