<br /> <br />Non-Professional Services Agreement between April 1, 2024 <br />City of San Leandro and Impec Group—Exhibit D Page 33 of 36 <br />I. Day Porter <br />1000 General <br />1. This position will be stationed out of the Public Safety Building (PSB) and will be responsible for <br />maintaining the PSB, City Hall, and the South Offices. <br />2. At the end of the day, a visit to the Main Library will also be made. <br />3. Full time staffing scheduled is to be one position assigned Monday through Friday, plus a half position <br />for the jail on Saturdays and Sundays. There are no provisions for sick leave or vacation coverage. <br />Staffing is required 365 days a year. This is a minimum staffing level. <br />4. Transportation between sites will be provided by the contractor. <br />5. The City may, on occasion, request the Day Porter to service another site –other than those listed- <br />to assist with a clean-up or restroom accident. Communication will be made to the Contractor’s <br />supervisor who can dispatch the staff person. <br />6. Day Porter is responsible for the work described below. When Day Porter is assigned other duties <br />they shall be performed in accordance with the applicable specifications. <br />1010 Schedule/Procedures <br />The day porter assigned to the jail/City Hall shall start their workday at the jail and spend 1 hour at City Hall. <br />Day porters shall be used to maintain a neat and clean appearance in all assigned locations on a continuing <br />basis; they shall not be utilized to perform the duties assigned to the night crews. An end of the day [ ~4pm] <br />check at City Hall or the Surlene Grant Meeting Room may be needed if there are expected night meetings <br />where restrooms shall be checked prior to leaving for the day. <br /> <br />1. Duties as assigned by the City’s Buildings Supervisor. These duties shall be for janitorial type of <br />services only. <br />2. Spills – Clean all spills immediately. Place safety signs to warn of any danger to the public or <br />employees. <br />3. Remove all trash, leaves, cigarette butts, and other debris from entrance area. This includes all <br />bench areas outside of the building where employees or citizens take breaks. <br />4. Clean all glass doors after midday. Straighten entrance mats. <br />5. Building interior – Make rounds throughout the buildings on a continuous basis, spot clean any <br />area that needs attention. Remove trash, debris, and recycling materials next to trash/recycle <br />containers, or overfull containers. <br />6. Stairs – Inspect stairs and stairwells and remove all trash, debris and recycling materials. <br />7. Limited Access Area – Vacuum and clean those areas in the building that are limited access areas <br />and must be cleaned while occupants are present. <br />8. Restrooms – Monitor and refill consumable dispensers as required. Wipe down sinks, counters, <br />mirrors, toilets and urinals as required. <br />9. Outside Buildings – Outside trash containers shall be emptied once per day or additionally if <br />required. Pick-up all paper, bottles and cans from the building perimeter, grounds, planted areas <br />and parking lot. <br />10. Break Areas – Wipe off tables, counters, and chairs. Sweep and spot clean floors, empty trash and <br />recycling containers. <br />11.
