Application of this clear coat provides a protectant layer between the ar twork and the <br />exterior elements. If vandalized, the unwanted graffiti can be washed off by “spray and wipe” with regular <br />graffiti cleaners, such as “Goof-Off.” <br /> <br />Maintaining and removing vandalism on murals can be an intricate and delicate process. Those performing <br />maintenance must take steps not to disturb the artwork. For this reason, ABG agrees to coordinate the <br />maintenance of the mural sites for a duration of 5 years following the installation. A suggested discretionary <br />budget of 8% ($4,000) should be set aside for potential maintenance costs. The initial 8% ($4,000) will be <br />drawn from the total project budget as laid out in this Scope of Services, earmarking $2,000 from each of <br />the two mural sites. Should maintenance costs exceed 8% ($4,000) over the course of this 5-year period, <br />additional funding may be required.
