Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and Last revised 3/21/24 RRM Design Group for Conceptual Design Services Exhibit A – Page 2 of 3 Subtask I.E: Preliminary Opinion of Cost – Previously Subtask I.B from Breezeway Conceptual Design Proposal Consultant will prepare a preliminary cost analysis exercise to determine the cost of the type of improvements explored in Subtask 1.B – Explore Breezeway Improvement Ideas. Deliverables: o Preliminary opinion of cost Subtask I.F: Base Map Utilizing the measurements of one City-Selected breezeway taken by Consultant onsite in Task ID (Field Investigation), Consultant will create a base map sufficient for the conceptual design. Deliverables: o Base map Task II: Conceptual Design Subtask II.A: Draft Concept Plan Consultant will prepare a black and white concept plan supported by photographic character imagery to help communicate the design intent. Consultant will present the plan to City staff at a virtual or in person meeting to obtain feedback before moving to the next task (Subtask II.B). Deliverables: o Black and white draft conceptual plan o Attend one (1) meeting Subtask II.B: Final Concept Plan Based on staff feedback on the draft conceptual plan, Consultant will revise and finalize the concept plan. Consultant will also prepare a site materials and furnishings selection, as well as a preliminary plant palette to be reviewed by staff, and will present the final concept plan, materials/furnishings, and preliminary plant palette to City staff at an in -person or virtual meeting. Consultant will incorporate comments received at this meeting and prepare a final, colored plan, preliminary plant palette, and furnishings/materials board. Deliverables: o Color final conceptual plan o Materials and furnishings board o Preliminary plant palette o Attend one (1) meeting Task III: Construction Visits and Recommendations Upon request by the City, Consultant will provide construction assistance services as outlined below. The City will provide construction management services to a construction contractor to implement the design completed by Consultant in the final concept plan. Since construction documentation is not included in Consultant’s scope of work, Consultant will not provide technical expertise related to the implementation of the concept design.
