Does not occur in the Action <br />Area and no suitable tidal/brackish marsh <br />habitat is present. <br />Acronyms <br />CH = Critical Habitat (designated) FC = Federal Candidate FT = Federally Threatened <br />DPS = Distinct Population Segment FE = Federally Endangered <br /> <br />Based on a review of the distribution and habitat requirements of these species and habitat <br />conditions within the Action Area, LSA determined that 15 of these species would not be affected by <br />the proposed project because no suitable habitat is present in the Action Area and these species <br />would not occur. These 15 species are included in Table A but are not further discussed in this BA. <br />The remaining four species have either been recorded in the project vicinity or could occur based on <br />the presence of suitable habitat: North American green sturgeon southern distinct population <br />segment (DPS) (Acipenser medirostris), Central California coast steelhead DPS (Oncorhynchus <br />mykiss), longfin smelt (Spirinchus thaleichthys), and western snowy plover (Charadrius alexandrines <br />nivosus). Section 3.2 provides species accounts, Section 4.0 analyzes the potential for the proposed <br />project to affect these species, and Section 2.2 provides avoidance and mitigation measures for <br />these species.
