2. The project shall adhere to the California Building Code 2019 edition for an <br />Educational facility (Day Care). <br />3. A Fire Alarm is required per NFPA 72 and the CFC 2019 edition chapter 9. A <br />Deferred Submittal should be placed on the cover sheet indicating this <br />requirement. <br />4. Provide a means of egress route on the exterior of the building to the public <br />way. This was not adequate addressed from the rear door of Learning area #1 <br />to the sidewalk. <br />5. Emergency lighting shall be provided with an average of 1-foot candle at the <br />floor on the exterior of the building along the pathway to the public way. <br />VI. PUBLIC WORKS (SOLID WASTE) REQUIREMENTS <br />A. Solid waste & recycling service provider shall be the Waste Management of Alameda <br />County. <br />B. Bin storage should be located to be the least obtrusive/visible from a public roadway. <br />If bin(s) cannot be stored without being visible from public roadway, construction of <br />a trash enclosure may be required. <br />C. Business shall have sufficient storage capacity and service frequency for all waste <br />generated on site. Determine capacity needs by completing the formula contained in <br />the Commercial Establishment Enclosure Guidelines (see attached and <br />https://www.sanleandro.org/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?blobid=15084). <br />D. Project is subject to Construction & Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance as per <br />Chapter 3-7 of the San Leandro Municipal Code, which states: all asphalt and concrete <br />and 50% of all other materials generated at a project site must be recycled for projects <br />with a valuation in excess of $100,000. Permit applicants must demonstrate <br />compliance by completing and submitting an online Waste Management Plan using <br />Green Halo Systems prior to permit issuance. Applicants must submit recycling and <br />disposal receipts online and submit the waste management report before scheduling <br />the final inspection. Note: Project will not be finaled until all recycling and disposal <br />tags have been registered into Green Halo Systems. <br />E. Recycling Requirements - Applicant is subject to Alameda County Mandatory Recycling <br />Ordinance #2012-01. For more information, visit www.RecyclingRuiesAC.org. <br />VII. MAINTENANCE <br />A.
