Non-Professional Services Agreement between <br />City of San Leandro and Silverado Contractors Inc—Exhibit A Page 1 of 3 <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />GENERAL <br />City of San Leandro is demolishing and removing the San Leandro’s Marina’s Harbor Master House <br />located at 40 Mulford Point due to fire damage. This building was burnt on December 28, 2023. This <br />contract is for removal of said structure and disposal of debris as described below. <br />Section 1: Project Administration and Permits <br />City shall: <br />1.Pay for building permits <br />2.Notify regulatory agencies of work to be done on an emergency basis <br />3.Arrange for gas, water, and electricity to be shut off <br />4.Provide a project biologist <br />Contractor shall: <br />1.Provide a performance bond and payment bond in the amount of $124,996. Provide a <br />maintenance bond in the amount of $12,499. Bond shall be on the form in exhibit E. <br />2.Obtain a City Business License <br />3.Provide 24 hour numbers for use in case of Emergency at the site. <br />4.Attend a preconstruction meeting to coordinate the work with the City. <br />5.Notify AQMD of demolition, submit copy of notification to City. <br />6.Obtain a building permit for demolition from the City of San Leandro. <br />7.Submit a work plan describing the order of work, dust protection measures, water protection <br />measures, collapse prevention measures, and equipment to be used. <br />8.Follow all requirements established in the Building permit, Hazmat Abatement report (prepared by <br />Advance Geo, dated 12/18/2023), and San Leandro Shoreline Development Project EIR document <br />prepared by Placeworks, dated Jun 2015, State Clearing House Number 2013072011 <br />9.Abide by all best practices of the BCDC, Water Board, Army Corp of Engineers, and Department of <br />Fish and Wildlife. <br />10.Follow recommendations of the project biologist. <br />11.Maintain and submit a daily log of work performed. <br />12.Document the site daily in photographs, and submit said photos. <br />13.Submit copy of completed/signed off building permit. <br />14.Notify City of schedule for work at least one week in advance. Notify City of any changes to the <br />schedule for the work. <br />General Provisions: <br />1.Permitted work hours shall be 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, Holidays excepted. 3/31/24 is a <br />holiday. <br />2.Contractor shall provide restroom facilities for the work crew. <br />3.Works shall be paid at prevailing wage rates as set by the Department of Industrial Relations. <br />4.Retention of 5% will be withheld until 35 days after notice of completion. <br />5.Notify City’s project inspector of work to be done each day. <br />6.Contractor is solely responsible for site safety.
