Recyclable Materials Collection <br />Contractor shall Collect Recyclable Materials placed in Contractor-provided Containers from Multi-Family <br />Customers and shall Transport all Recyclable Materials to the Designated Recyclable Materials Processing <br />Facility for Processing. Contractor shall provide service at the frequency requested by Customers, up to <br />the maximum service frequency. Recyclable Materials Collection Services shall be provided to Multi-Family <br />Customers at the per-unit Rate approved by the City. <br />Containers: Carts, Bins <br />Container Sizes: 64-, and 96-gallon (or comparable size Carts approved by the City); and, <br /> 1-, 1.5-, 2-, 3-, 4-, 5-, 6-, 7, and 8-cubic yard Bins. As selected by Customer. <br />Contractor shall provide no less than ninety-six (96) gallons of Container capacity <br />for every five (5) Dwelling Units. <br />Service Frequency: Up to six (6) times per week but not less than one (1) time per week (as <br />requested by Customer). Saturday service requires three (3) service days during <br />the week Monday through Friday. <br />Service Location: Curbside or other -selected service location (including backyard or side-yard) at <br />the Multi-Family Premises that is mutually agreed upon by both the Contractor <br />and Customer. Contractor shall service both Carts and Bins at the same service <br />location, unless written notification is provided by Contractor to the Customer <br />stating the different service locations for Carts and Bins. Containers shall be <br />shared by Occupants and centralized. <br />Acceptable Materials: Recyclable Materials <br />Prohibited Materials: Organic Materials, Solid Waste, Excluded Waste <br />Additional Service: Special pick-ups requested by a Customer, on days other than their regularly <br />scheduled Collection day, will be available at an approved additional charge. <br />Such additional picks-ups can be scheduled equating to up to five (5) days per <br />week total service. <br />Other Requirements: Contractor shall open and close gates, push and/or pull Containers, lock and <br />unlock Containers, or perform other services as reasonably necessary to access <br />and service Containers and may charge City approved Rates for such service. <br />Contractor shall not apply push and/or pull rates to service Carts. <br /> Contractor may refuse to Collect a Recyclable Materials Container that contains <br />more than ten percent (10%) by volume of Prohibited Container Contaminants, <br />provided that Contractor leaves a Non-Collection Notice in accordance with <br />Section 5.3.B of this Agreement. Contractor shall inform the Customer of their <br />options to either remove the Prohibited Container Contaminants or pay the City- <br />approved Rate to have the contents of the contaminated Recyclable Materials <br />Container Collected as Solid Waste. Contractor may charge the Customer the <br />City-approved Rate for a special pick-up if the Customer elects to have their <br />corrected or contaminated Recyclable Materials Container serviced before the <br />next regular Collection day.
