- 3 - <br />(SLMO) under its applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br />provided to employees who are members of SLMO. <br /> <br />d. Other Fringe Benefits. Manager shall be entitled to medical coverage, <br />dental coverage, life insurance, disability benefits, management <br />development program reimbursement, and other voluntary benefits at the <br />same contribution levels and under the same conditions that are provided <br />to members of the San Leandro Management Organization (SLMO) under <br />its applicable Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) <br /> <br />e. Retirement. Manager shall be eligible to participate in the Tier 2 classic <br />CalPERS program offered to “Miscellaneous” non-safety employees. <br />Manager shall pay the full employee contribution rate equal to 7% of her <br />salary to PERS plus a 3% cost sharing contribution towards the employer <br />contribution rate for a total of 10% of salary. <br />i. Deferred Compensation Plan: Manager is eligible to participate in <br />the deferred compensation plan. The City will match Manager’s <br />contribution to the Section 457 plan up to a maximum of 2% of <br />employee’s base pay. <br /> <br />f. Automobile Allowance. The City shall provide Manager with a monthly <br />automobile allowance of Four Hundred Dollars ($400) to reimburse <br />Manager for use of her personal automobile for City business. The City <br />shall reimburse Manager at the current standard IRS rates for trips of over <br />100 miles taken in her personal automobile for City business. <br /> <br />g. Professional Memberships. The City shall budget under the City <br />Manager’s Department the cost of fees and memberships in professional <br />organizations as well as the registration fees and travel and subsistence <br />costs for professional and official meetings, conferences, and functions, <br />up to a maximum of $10,000.00 per year. Examples of memberships <br />include: International City/County Management Association, the California <br />City Management Foundation, and the California League of Cities. <br /> <br />Should the budget need to increase, Manager will present a proposed <br />budget for expenses to the Council for review and approval at the <br />beginning of each fiscal year. Manager will also be approved to attend the <br />Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executives in Local Government in year <br />1 or 2. City shall also pay for an executive coach of Manager’s choosing <br />with City Council approval. <br /> <br />h. Internal Revenue Code Compliance. All provisions of this Section 7 are <br />subject to the provisions and limitations of the Internal Revenue Code and <br />its related regulations as amended from time to time. No requirement of <br />any provision of this Section 7 shall be effective if it would violate any <br />provision of the Internal Revenue Code or its related regulations, and the
