<br /> <br />Page 6 of 65 <br /> <br />Task 2: Community Engagement <br />2.1 Community Engagement Strategies <br />The role of the consultant team is to provide technical support for community engagement with <br />the City Team providing administrative support. GCC and UFS will work with the City Team and <br />partners to prepare a Community Engagement Strategy that identifies the goals, audience, <br />outreach activities/formats, and meetings required to successfully engage the public and <br />stakeholders in and around the Development Plan and CBTP area. <br /> <br />The Community Engagement Strategies will be accompanied by a live, internal planning <br />document, the Community Engagement Tracker spreadsheets, to manage community contacts, <br />community engagement activities, and logistics related to the Development Plan and CBTP. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Development Plan Community Engagement Strategy Memo <br />• Development Plan Community Engagement Tracker Spreadsheet <br />• CBTP Community Engagement Strategy Memo <br />• CBTP Community Engagement Tracker Spreadsheet <br />2.2 Public Partner Engagement <br />Public Agency Partners to be engaged throughout the Project include: <br />• City of San Leandro department staff from Engineering, Transportation, Parks, Fire, <br />Public Works, Building, Police <br />• Public Agency Partners from BART, AC Transit, Alameda County Planning, Alameda <br />County Public Works, Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District <br />(AFCWCD), Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR), California Public Utilities Commission <br />(CPUC), Hayward Area Recreation and Park District (HARD), Alameda County <br />Transportation Commission. (ACTC). <br />• A subset of the two groups above will be part of the CBTP Project Management Team. <br />This includes the PM Team and Alameda County Planning. <br /> <br />This task includes: <br /> <br />A. CBTP Coordination Meetings (5) (virtual): These will occur prior to meeting with the <br />CBTP Steering Committee (see Task 2.4) <br />B. Group Meetings (5) (virtual): These group meetings will involve City Departments and <br />Public Agency Partners These will occur at Kick-off, and during the Evaluation <br />Framework, Development Plan Alternatives, Proposed CBTP Projects, Draft <br />Development Plan stages. <br />C.
