3 <br /> <br /> <br /> 2.5.1 Commercial General Liability Insurance. <br /> <br /> 2.5.1.1 General requirements. Organization, at its own cost and expense, <br />shall maintain commercial general liability insurance coverage for the term of this Agreement in <br />an amount not less than ONE MILLION DOLLARS ($1,000,000) per occurrence and THREE <br />MILLION DOLLARS ($3,000,000) aggregate, combined single limit coverage for risks <br />associated with the work contemplated by this Agreement. <br /> <br /> 2.5.1.2 Minimum scope of coverage. Commercial general liability <br />coverage shall be at least as broad as Insurance Services Office Commercial General Liability <br />occurrence form CG 0001 (most recent edition) covering comprehensive General Liability on an <br />“occurrence” basis. No endorsement shall be attached limiting the coverage. <br /> <br /> 2.5.1.3 Additional requirements. Each of the following shall be included in <br />the insurance coverage or added as a certified endorsement to the policy: <br /> <br /> a. The Commercial General Liability Insurance shall cover on an <br />occurrence basis City, its officers, officials, employees, agents, and volunteers as additional <br />insureds for liability arising out of work or operations on behalf of the Organization, including <br />materials, parts, or equipment furnished in connection with such work or operations; or <br />automobiles owned, leased, hired, or borrowed by the Organization. Coverage can be provided in <br />the form of an endorsement to the Organization’s insurance at least as broad as CG 20 10 11 85, <br />or both CG 20 10 10 01 and CG 20 37 10 01. <br /> b. For any claims related to this Agreement or the work hereunder, the <br />Organization’s insurance covered shall be primary insurance as respects the City, its officers, <br />officials, employees, agents, and volunteers. Any insurance or self-insurance maintained by the <br />City, its officers, officials, employees, agents or volunteers shall be excess of the Organization’s <br />insurance and non-contributing. <br /> c. The policy shall cover inter-insured suits and include a “separation <br />of Insureds” or “severability” clause which treats each insured separately. <br /> d. Organization agrees to give at least 30 days prior written notice to <br />City before coverage is canceled or modified as to scope or amount. <br /> <br /> 2.4.2 All Policies Requirements. <br /> <br /> 2.4.2.1 Submittal Requirements. Organization shall submit the following to <br />City prior to beginning services: <br /> a. Certificate of Liability Insurance in the amounts specified in this <br />Agreement; and <br /> b. Additional Insured Endorsement as required for the General <br />Commercial Liability Policy. <br /> <br /> 2.5.2.2 Acceptability of insurers.
