<br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro and <br />The EcoHero Show for Recycling & Sorting Outreach to SL Elementary Schools Exhibit A – Page 2 of 2 <br />● The EcoHero Show will handle all communications with schools. This includes promotion, scheduling, <br />logistics management, and data collection. <br />● A schedule of presentations will be shared with the City, and sponsoring staff are welcome to attend any <br />show if they would like. <br />● At the end of the school year, the City will receive “Impact Reports” that outline the number of schools & <br />students reached, testimonials, and survey results. <br />● Students can continue learning through The EcoHero Club, or The EcoHero Show themed books, and on <br />The EcoHero YouTube page. Teachers are also sent classroom curriculum should they wish to offer <br />additional education on the topics presented after the show. <br /> <br />Core Offerings: <br />Individual Schools Performances <br />There are two presentation styles that serve as both education and outreach tools: <br />● Whole School Assemblies are 40 minutes long and developed for students in K – 5th or 8th grades. <br />These are presented in-person to the entire student body in a large gathering space. <br />○ Note: There is also a live-stream version of this offering to accommodate schools that cannot <br />host in-person. This virtual offering is on all documentation as a precaution. <br />● Classroom Presentations are 40 minutes long and developed for students in 1st – 5th or 8th grades. <br />These are presented virtually by streaming directly into individual classes. This offering helps reach <br />students at schools that may not be able to book a whole school assembly. <br /> <br />Post-Performance Education <br />The EcoHero Show wants the messaging introduced during their presentations to be continually reinforced <br />in different educational formats for all learning styles. This is accomplished via the EcoHero Club newsletter <br />and YouTube videos. The following two options are also available: <br />● Follow-up Classroom Curriculum. These additional learning activities were created for students to do <br />in class following shows. These materials will be shared with teachers for use in the classroom. This is <br />included in the performance cost and will be automatically distributed following completion of presentations. <br />● Themed Rap-Along Books. EcoHero Books were developed, with a total of 8 in the series thus far. <br />There are both litter reduction and organics-themed versions. These can be sent to teachers, students, <br />libraries, and city buildings. These pair perfectly with Class Presentations in particular, where each teacher <br />who hosts gets a book sent to their class.
