Lift Pump Can and Pump Installation <br />Project Overview – Procurement and installation of a like-for-like pump can, concrete kicker, soil backfill, <br />shoring removal, concrete pedestal installation, pump installation, pump bolt up, copper drain line <br />reconnection, and off haul/dispose of stockpiled soil <br />•Procure like-for-like pump can, hardware, gaskets and, miscellaneous material (disposal of the <br />original pump can is included) <br />•Install the pump can in the previously excavated area of work utilizing the existing piping points <br />of connection <br />•Pour a concrete kicker at the base of the pump can <br />•Backfill; the work area with recycled AB <br />•Removal of the rental shoring <br />•Installation of an 4’x4’x1’ concrete pedestal <br />•Installation of the existing pump into the pump can <br />•Pump bolt up to the existing piping points of connection <br />•Reconnection of an existing copper drain line <br />•Off haul and disposal of the old pump can, misc. materials <br />•All stockpiled soil will either be relocated on site or off hauled to an approved disposal facilityGeneral Provisions and Clarifications: •All work is to be performed during normal working hours on a continuous working schedule <br />coordinated with the customer. <br />•Any repairs or modifications to the lift pump itself are excluded from this scope. <br />•Electrical and pump startup are excluded and the res ponsibility of the customer. <br />•Restoration of landscaping or surface areas disturbe d during excavation is excluded unless explicitlystated otherwise.•Any unforeseen site conditions requiring additional work beyond the scope outlined are excluded and <br />may incur additional costs. <br />•Abatement, if found, is not included in the above scope of work. <br />•Any items not specifically listed above are excluded. <br />•Proposal is valid 30 days from proposal date.
