IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE SECURITY SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH ANI PRIVATE SECURITY AND PATROL, INC. FOR A NEW NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF $180,000 WHEREAS, the City entered into an agreement with ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. on July 1, 2024, for the provision of security services at various City facilities; and WHEREAS, ANI Private Security and Patrol, Inc. has provided excellent security services while maintaining a high standard of customer service; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement to extend security services at City Hall and increase service hours at the Senior Community Center, thereby increasing compensation to $180,000 through June 30, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and finds the amendment acceptable; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of the proposed amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1.Amendments to Exhibit B of the Agreement, entitled “Compensation,” to authorize an additional sum of $80,000, for a total contract amount not to exceed $180,000, are hereby approved; and 2.Amendments to Exhibit A of the Agreement, entitled “Scope of Services,” to extend front desk security services at San Leandro City Hall through June 30, 2025, and to increase service hours at the San Leandro Senior Community Center to 8.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, are hereby approved; and 3.All other terms of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect; and 4.The City Manager is authorized to take all necessary actions and execute all documents required to implement the purpose and intent of this Resolution.
