IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE CONSULTING SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND WRT, LLC FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A COMPREHENSIVE PARKS MASTER PLAN, INCREASING THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY $29,280, FOR A TOTAL NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT OF $408,892 WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro entered into a Consulting Services Agreement with WRT, LLC on March 20, 2023, for the development of a Comprehensive Parks Master Plan; and WHEREAS, WRT, LLC has led a robust community engagement process and collaborated with staff to assess existing parks and recreational facilities, identify community priorities, and develop short- and long-term implementation strategies; and WHEREAS, the City previously executed Amendment No. 1 on July 1, 2024, and Amendment No. 2 on January 1, 2025, extending the term of the agreement to June 30, 2025; and WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend the agreement to complete final deliverables including City Council presentations, plan revisions, and a site-specific plan for Washington Manor Park, thereby increasing compensation by $29,280; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and finds the amendment acceptable; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends approval of the proposed amendment. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: 1.That the amendment to the Consulting Services Agreement to authorize an additional sum of $29,280, for a revised total not-to-exceed contract amount of $408,892, is approved; and 2.That the amended Exhibit A of the Agreement, entitled “Scope of Services,” to include final plan revisions, presentations to the Recreation and Parks Commission and City Council, and a site- specific plan for Washington Manor Park is approved; and 3.That this resolution affirms that all other terms of the agreement not amended shall remain in full force and effect; and 4.That the City Manager shall take all necessary actions and execute all documents required to implement the purpose and intent of this resolution.
