Lifecycle Replacement
<br />All park elements have a finite lifespan and will eventually
<br />require replacement. The lifecycle of each element varies
<br />based on its type, use, and environmental factors. Table
<br />5.2 identifies existing facilities currently in need of immediate
<br />lifecycle replacement to help the City identify urgent repairs and
<br />upgrades. Additionally, Table 5.3 provides cost estimates and
<br />lifecycle timelines for a wide range of park amenities, enabling
<br />the City to plan and budget for future replacement needs
<br />systematically. These costs are fine-tuned to the Bay Area and
<br />include installation.
