IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX RESOLUTION TO REJECT ALL BIDS FOR MULFORD MARINA BRANCH LIBRARY, PROJECT NO. 2018.2400 AND TO APPROVE EXCLUSION OF PROJECT LIST ‘A’ FROM THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM 10 YEAR PLAN FY 2026 THROUGH FY 2035 AS A FUNDED PROJECT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro desires to establish a Capital Improvement Program 10-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2026 through 2035 (the “Capital Improvement Plan”); and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the proposed Project List ‘A,’ as presented; and Project List ‘A’ Mulford Marina Branch Library WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Mulford Marina Branch Library should not be included in the Capital Improvement Plan as a funded project; and WHEREAS, the City Council desires to make a final decision to exclude Mulford Marina Branch Library from the Capital Improvement Plan as a funded project; and WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro did, on April 10, 2025, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work described in the bid documents for the subject project; and WHEREAS, said proposals were submitted to the Public Works Director for comparison and recommendation; and WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recommends that the proposals for said work be rejected. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE that the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby excludes Mulford Marina Branch Library from the Capital Improvement Program 10-Year Plan for Fiscal Years 2026 through 2035 as a funded project. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Leandro hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids for Mulford Marina Branch Library, Project No. 2018.2400 Introduced by _______________ and passed and adopted this 9th day of June 2025 by the following vote: AYES: () NOES: () DRAFT
