Organizational Staffing Responsibilities <br />The City’s organizational lines of authority and staffing are as follows: <br />City Manager: <br />Under general guidance from the City of San Leandro City Council, serves as the chief executive officer with <br />responsibility for all City Functions <br />City Attorney: <br />Serves as legal counsel for the City and is responsible for maintaining the City Administrative and Municipal <br />Codes. <br />Water Pollution Control Manager: <br />Organizes, directs and reviews the activities and operations of sewer system and the City of San Leandro <br />Water Pollution Control Plant. Has overall responsibility for the Water Pollution Control Division Capital <br />Improvement Program. Coordinate assigned activities and programs with the Water Pollution Control <br />Division and the Public Works Department and outside agencies. <br />Engineering Manager: <br />Plans, organizes, directs and manages the Project Development team of the Engineering Division of the <br />Public Works Department; coordinates and directs the activities of the Capital Improvement Program; <br />supervises and participates in the conduct of complicated engineering, operations and maintenance <br />planning, design, and investigation activities connected with the maintenance, operation, expansion and <br />refurbishment of a system of sanitary treatment and conveyance facilities. <br />Collections Supervisor: <br />Manages, plans, coordinates, and reviews the work of the Collections Section of the Water Pollution Control <br />Division. Ensures the compliant operation of all regulatory requirements, Policies and Procedures, manages <br />Collections Section budget, trains, mentors, and manages assigned staff. <br />Collection System Maintenance Workers I/II: <br />Responsible for maintaining the collection system, including cleaning and CCTV inspection. Responsible for <br />sewer overflow emergency response. <br />
