IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE AND AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A NON- <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH POLYDYNE, INC. FOR $786,000 OVER FIVE YEARS <br />FOR POLYMER SELECTION AND SUPPLY SERVICES FOR THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro’s Water Pollution Control Plant requires the use of polymer in <br />day-to-day operations in the wastewater treatment process; and <br />WHEREAS, the City’s current contract for the selection and supply of polymer ends June 30, <br />2025; and <br />WHEREAS, staff sought competitive proposals for polymer selection and supply services and found that <br />the proposal from Polydyne, Inc. provides the best value and is the most advantageous to the City; and <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends entering into contract with Polydyne, Inc. for the selection and <br />supply of polymer for a period of five years with a not to exceed amount of $786,000. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as follows: <br />That said non-professional services agreement is hereby approved and execution by the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized; and <br />That the City Manager or her designee is authorized to take all actions and execute all documents <br />necessary to effect the purpose and intent of this Resolution. <br />Introduced by Councilmember _______________ and passed and adopted this 21st day of July 2025 <br />by the following vote: <br />AYES: () <br />NOES: () <br />ABSENT: () <br />ATTEST: <br />Kelly B.
