July 7, 2025City Council Minutes <br />$630,000 for the Hesperian Boulevard Bike Lane Gap Closure Project, <br />Project No. 2023.4220; to Authorize the City Manager to Negotiate <br />and Approve Individual Contract Amendments up to 5% (or $31,500) <br />of the Original Contract Amount; to Authorize the City Manager to <br />Negotiate and Approve Contract Amendments up to a Cumulative <br />Value of 15% (or $94,500) of the Original Contract Amount; and to <br />Appropriate $325,000 in Grant Funding to the Subject Project <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Viveros-Walton, seconded by <br />Councilmember Bowen, to Approve Items 5.a. and 5.f. The motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />Aye:Aguilar Jr., Simon, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt6 - <br />Recused:Azevedo1 - <br />Enactment No: Reso 2025-084 <br />5.f.25-277 Adopt Two Resolutions: 1) Local Support for the MacArthur Superior <br />Roundabout Project; and 2) Hesperian Bike Lane Gap Closure Project <br />for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission Housing Incentive <br />Pool Grant Program, Committing Local Matching Funds in the Amount <br />of $240,854, and Assuring the Completion of the Project <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Viveros-Walton, seconded by <br />Councilmember Bowen, to Approve Items 5.a. and 5.f. The motion carried by <br />the following vote: <br />Aye:Aguilar Jr., Simon, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt6 - <br />Recused:Azevedo1 - <br />Enactment No: Reso 2025-085 & Reso 2025-086 <br />5.b.25-205 Adopt a Resolution to Approve and Authorize the City Manager to <br />Award a Consultant Services Agreement to NCE in the amount of <br />$510,000 for the Lewelling Boulevard Class IV Bike Ways Project, <br />Project No. 2022.4200; to Authorize the City Manager to Negotiate <br />and Approve Individual Contract Amendments up to 5% (or $25,500) <br />of the Original Contract Amount; to Authorize the City Manager to <br />Negotiate and Approve Contract Amendments up to a Cumulative <br />Value of 15% (or $76,500) of the Original Contract Amount; and to <br />Appropriate $2,207,000 in ACTC Grant Funds to the Subject Project <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, seconded by Councilmember <br />Bowen, to Approve Items 5.b. and 5.e.
