The motion carried by the following <br />vote: <br />Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt6 - <br />Recused:Simon1 - <br />Enactment No: Reso 2025-088 & Reso 2025-089 <br />CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS6. <br />Acting City Manager Mike Yuen announced the upcoming Third Annual San Leandro <br />Restaurant Week from July 13-19, 2025, where more than two dozen local <br />restaurants offer exclusive deals and limited-time specials. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS7. <br />Comments were made by approximately 6 people. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS8. <br />8.a.25-193 First Reading and Introduction of an Ordinance to Amend Various <br />Chapters of the Zoning Code and Municipal Code to Modify <br />Regulations Pertaining to Tobacco Retailing, Oversized Vehicle <br />Parking, San Leandro Waterways and Reach Code Requirements for <br />All Electric Buildings; and <br />Adoption of a Resolution Amending the Administrative Code to Modify <br />Regulations Pertaining to Reasonable Accommodation Requests; and <br />Adoption of an Ordinance Terminating an Existing Temporary Zoning <br />Moratorium to Prohibit, in New Locations, the Sale of Tobacco and <br />Tobacco-Related Products, as well as New Tobacconist/Cigarette <br />Stores throughout the City <br />The Hearing was opened to the public. <br /> Comments were made by approximately 18 people. <br />There being no further public comments, and without objection, the Public Hearing <br />was closed. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Azevedo, seconded by Councilmember <br />Simon, that this Staff Report be Approved except for portions pertaining to <br />tobacco retailing and oversized vehicle parking.
