RESOLUTION NO. 2025-152 2 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the reasons for such previous and new proposed <br />changes to the California Building Standards Code as set forth in Exhibits A through D to this Resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council for the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE, declare and find <br />that the changes to the provisions of the California Building Standards Code set forth in Exhibits A through <br />D are reasonably necessary because of local climatic, geologic, or topographical conditions in <br />accordance with Health and Safety Code Section 17958.7; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution, including Exhibits A, B, C and D shall be <br />filed with the California Building Standards Commission in accordance with Health and Safety Code <br />Section 17958.7. <br /> <br />Introduced by Councilmember Aguilar and passed and adopted this 17th day of November 2025 by <br />the following vote: <br />AYES: Councilmember Aguilar, Azevedo, Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, and (7) <br />Mayor González <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: ______________________ <br /> Sarah K.
