A motion was made by Councilmember Boldt, seconded by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., that the Ordinance be approved. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Simon, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt6 - Nay:González III1 - Enactment No: Ord 2026-001 The City Council took a 10-minute recess at 8:56 p.m. 10b.26-020 Receive Update on Project Elevate: Citywide Modernization with Workday; and Adopt a Resolution to Authorize Amendment No. 1 to the Consulting Services Agreement with Berry, Dunn, McNeil & Parker, LLC, for an Additional $98,800 Using Previously Appropriated Project Funds for a New Not-to-Exceed Total of $470,800 and to Extend the Term to December 31, 2026, Resulting in No Additional General Fund Costs There were no public comments. A motion was made by Councilmember Aguilar, Jr., seconded by Councilmember Azevedo, that this Resolution be Approved. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: Aye:Aguilar Jr., Azevedo, Simon, González III, Bowen, Viveros-Walton, Boldt7 - Enactment No: Reso 2026-010 10c.26-033 Adopt a Resolution to Call for a Special Municipal Election to be held June 2, 2026 for Submitting to the Voters a Proposed Charter Amendment Measure for the Transition to a District-Based Elections System Pursuant to the California Voting Rights Act; Consolidating with the Statewide Primary Election; and Setting Ballot Measure Argument Requirements Comments were made by one person.
