March 2, 2026City Council Minutes <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Bowen, seconded by Councilmember <br />Viveros-Walton, to adopt the resolution as presented. The motion FAILED by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: 3 - Bowen, Viveros-Walton, González <br />Noes: 2 - Boldt, Simon <br />Excluded: 1 - Aguilar <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Boldt, seconded by Councilmember <br />Simon, to adopt the resolution as amended to revise subsection (c) of the first <br />resolved clause to read "...treatment reflecting conduct unbecoming of a <br />Councilmember." The motion FAILED by the following vote: <br />Ayes: 2 - Boldt, Simon <br />Noes: 3 - Bowen, Viveros-Walton, González <br />Excluded: 1 - Aguilar <br />A motion was made by Mayor González, seconded by Councilmember Boldt, to <br />adopt the resolution as amended to remove subsections (a), (b), and (c) of the <br />first resolved clause. The motion CARRIED by the following vote: <br />Ayes: 5 - Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, González <br />Excluded: 1 - Aguilar <br />Enactment No: Reso 2026-021 <br />10b.26-094 Adopt a Resolution to Execute the Discipline Already Agreed Upon at <br />the January 20, 2026 City Council Meeting onto Councilmember Simon <br />under Chapter 1.13 of the San Leandro Administrative Code pursuant to <br />Councilmember Bowen’s internal request for discipline submitted on <br />October 24, 2025 <br />Comments were made by 9 people. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Viveros-Walton, seconded by <br />Councilmember Bowen, to extend the meeting to 11:45 p.m. The motion <br />CARRIED by the following vote: <br />Ayes: 6 - Aguilar, Boldt, Bowen, Simon, Viveros-Walton, González <br />The City Council took a 7-minute recess at 10:53 p.m. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Boldt, seconded by Councilmember <br />Aguilar, to adopt the resolution as amended to remove subsections (a), (b), and <br />(c) of the first resolved clause.
