June 1, 2026City Council Minutes <br />Received and Filed on the Consent Calendar. <br />Enactment No: Reso 2026-067 <br />5f.26-199 Adopt a Resolution Approving the Appropriation of $250,000 in the <br />Capital Improvement Fund for the Monarch Bay Drive Bridge <br />Abutment Repair Project, Project No. 2026.1020 <br />Received and Filed on the Consent Calendar. <br />Enactment No: Reso 2026-068 <br />5g.26-250 Motion to Accept the 2025-2026 Board and Commission Report of <br />Attendance <br />Adopted on the Consent Calendar. <br />Enactment No: Min Order 2026-022 <br />5h.26-251 Minutes from the May 18, 2026 City Council Meeting <br />Approved as Submitted on the Consent Calendar. <br />5i.26-267 Minutes from the May 27, 2026 Rules Committee Meeting <br />Approved as Submitted on the Consent Calendar. <br />CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS6. <br />City Manager Cameron announced the upcoming Cherry Festival on Saturday, June <br />6, 2026; and welcomed incoming Chief Technology Officer Alicia Hernandez. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS7. <br />Comments were made by sixteen people. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS8. <br />8a.26-234 Hearing to (1) Adopt a Resolution Establishing Rent Program Fees <br />and Amending the Master Fee Schedule for the Rental Registry and <br />Rent Stabilization Programs (Rent Program) and Approving a General <br />Fund Loan of $2,230,500 at 4.03% Interest and a Maximum Term of <br />Six years; and (2) Introduce an Ordinance Amending San Leandro <br />Municipal Code Section 4-46-175(C) to Prohibit the Pass-Through of <br />the Rent Stabilization Program Fee to Tenants <br />Comments were made by three people. <br />A motion was made by Councilmember Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton, seconded by <br />Councilmember James Aguilar, to adopt the resolution and introduce the <br />ordinance.
