No action taken. <br />10b.26-255 Motion for Reconsideration of Council Action Taken at the regular <br />meeting on May 18, 2026 to Accept an Urgency Referral Pertaining to <br />a Resolution Reaffirming the City Council's Intent Regarding <br />Rehabilitation of Lake Chabot Road, to be Considered at a July City <br />Council Meeting <br />Comments were made by four people. <br />The Mayor's Motion to Reconsider the Council vote to accept an urgency <br />referral pertaining to a resolution reaffirming the City Council's intent <br />regarding rehabilitation of Lake Chabot Road to be considered at a July City <br />Council meeting, CARRIED by the following vote: <br />Ayes: 7 - James Aguilar, Victor Aguilar, Dylan Boldt, Xouhoa Bowen, Fred <br />Simon, Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton, Juan González III <br />The City Council reconsidered the original motion from May 18, 2026, moved <br />by Councilmember Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton, seconded by Councilmember <br />James Aguilar, to accept an urgency referral pertaining to a resolution <br />reaffirming the City Council's intent regarding rehabilitation of Lake Chabot <br />Road to be considered at a July City Council meeting. The motion FAILED by <br />the following vote: <br />Ayes: 3 - Victor Aguilar, Fred Simon, Sbeydeh Viveros-Walton <br />Noes: 4 - James Aguilar, Dylan Boldt, Xouhoa Bowen, Juan González III <br />Enactment No: Min Order 2026-023 <br />COUNCIL REQUESTS TO SCHEDULE AGENDA ITEMS11. <br />Councilmember Xouhoa Bowen stated she had submitted four referral items for <br />consideration by the Council pertaining to food service packaging reduction and <br />reuse; a home hardening ordinance; reaffirming intent to construct the MacArthur <br />Roundabout; and permitted hours for solicitors.
