<br />Amendment No. 1 to <br />Consulting Services Agreement between City of San Leandro Last revised April, 2026 <br />NCE for Lewelling Boulevard Class IV Bike Ways Project Page 2 of 4 <br />Task 8 - Cultural Resources Assessment <br /> <br />NCE Cultural Resources Specialists will participate in project development, team coordination, and <br />report preparation tasks, ensuring cultural resource assessments pertaining to avoidance and <br />protective measures are properly integrated into the overall pro ject. Activities: <br />• APE map development <br />• Conduct archival research including a records search request to the NWIC <br />• Field investigation to locate cultural resources within or adjacent to in the APE <br />• Prepare draft HPSR and ASR and submit to the City <br />• Incorporate City comments, revise HPSR and ASR, and submit to Caltrans and the City <br />• Prepare final HPSR and ASR, incorporating Caltrans comments, and submit to Caltrans for <br />signature <br /> <br />Assumptions: <br />• Fieldwork will require no more than two (2) days. <br />• The draft HPSR/ASR will be reviewed by the City and Caltrans. One (1) round of revision <br />from both the City and Caltrans will be required to finalize cultural resource documents. <br />• No more than one (1) meeting with the City/Caltrans will be necessary to complete the <br />ASR/HPSR. <br />• Given the scale and scope of the project, interest in the project is not anticipated by Native <br />American tribes. If tribes respond to inquiry letters wishing to become involved, <br />consultation activities will be limited in scope (e.g., initial contact and sha ring of available <br />documentation). This scope does not cover tribe requests involving fieldwork or the <br />incorporation of comments to resulting reporting documentation. If Tribes request <br />compensation, this will be the responsibility of the City. <br />• The project will not include components that will directly or indirectly affect architectural <br />resources. The development of a Caltrans Historical Resources Evaluation Report (HRER) <br />will not be required. <br />• Subsurface testing will not be required. <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br />• Draft HPSR and ASR (electronic, MS Word, and PDF formats). <br />• Revised draft HPSR and ASR (electronic, MS Word, and PDF formats). <br />• Final HPSR and ASR for Caltrans signature (electronic, PDF format). <br /> <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: A446878B-8851-8D4B-801B-314EB895F4BC
