IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />RESOLUTION N0.2009-056 (2121/2639/2930) <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT THE MEASURE B <br />PARATRANSIT APPLICATION FOR THE EXPENDITURE OF MEASURE B <br />PARATRANSIT FUNDS IN FY 2009-10 TO THE ALAMEDA COUNTY <br />TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT AUTHORITY (ACTIA), AND TO NEGOTIATE <br />AND EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS IN SUPPORT OF THESE ACTIVITIES <br />Recitals <br />WHEREAS, before Measure B Paratransit funds will be made available to local agencies, <br />the LOCAL AGENCY is required to approve the annual application for Measure B Paratransit <br />funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Improvement Authority (ACTIA) <br />requires a resolution approving the annual application. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That the City Council authorizes the City Manager to submit the Measure B Paratransit <br />Application for the expenditure of Measure B Paratransit funds in FY 2009-10 to ACTIA, and to <br />negotiate and execute all documents in support of these activities. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution will be transmitted to <br />ACTIA. <br />Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 20th day of April, <br />2009, by the following called vote: <br />Members of the Council: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos (7) <br />NOES: None (0) <br />ABSENT: None (0) <br />ATTEST: U V ll~~~-~Vl <br />Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
