CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:03 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Members of the Optimists Club led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENT ATIONSIRECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Administration of Oath of Office for Rent Review Board Member Millicent Miles. <br /> <br />Rent Review Board Member Millicent Miles took the Oath of Office administered by <br />City Clerk Marian Handa. <br /> <br />Mayor Young introduced Harold Kitzmann of the Optimists Club. Mr. Kitzmann presented a <br />check to City Manager John Jermanis in the amount of $1,087.50 for reimbursement to the <br />City for t-shirts it purchased for a local track meet. The money was raised through profits <br />from the rifle range operated by the Optimists Club. Mr. Kitzmann expressed his <br />appreciation for the relationship between the Optimists and the City of San Leandro. <br /> <br />Mayor Young appointed Councilmember Santos as the voting delegate, and Councilmember <br />Stephens as the alternate, for the League of California Cities Annual Conference. <br />
