CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Human Services Commissioner Joe Flynn led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Recognition of the Employee of the Month for the Month of August, 2005, <br />Shanna DeCoite, Public Safety Dispatcher, Police Department. <br /> <br />Shanna DeCoite was present to receive her award. <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced that Shanna has accepted a position with the Contra Costa <br />County Sheriff s Department and will be leaving the City of San Leandro. <br /> <br />B. Resolution No. 2005-125, Resolution Appointing Member to the Human Services <br />Commission (District 3)-Dennis Chin. (2024) <br /> <br />MiS/C Nardine and Badger. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br /> <br />Newly-appointed Commissioner Dennis Chin took the Oath of Office administered by <br />City Clerk Marian Handa. <br /> <br />
