CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br /> <br />Tyler Enos, grandson of Councilmember Tony Santos, led the Pledge of Allegiance to <br />the Flag. <br /> <br />B. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant, Nardine, Santos, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. PRESENT ATIONS/RECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Recognition of the Employee of the Month for the Month of October 2005, <br />Toyin Fawehinmi, Associate Engineer, Engineering and Transportation Department. <br /> <br />Toyin Fawehinmi was present to receive his award. <br /> <br />B. Proclamation Designating October as United Nations Month in San Leandro. <br /> <br />Mayor Young announced that the City would fly the United Nations flag on October <br />24, 2005. <br /> <br />C. Presentation on Global Warming by ICLEI Local Governments for Sustainability. <br /> <br />
