CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 6:46 p.m. <br /> <br />A. Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Members Badger, Grant (arrived at 6:52 p.m.), Nardine, Santos, <br />Starosciak, Stephens; Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />2. BUSINESS ITEMS <br /> <br />A. Matter of Report on Status of Local Emergency Resulting from the Winter Storms of <br />2005-06. <br /> <br />City Manager Jermanis informed the Council about the purpose of the Special Meeting <br />and proposed action. He gave an update on the repairs to the shoreline, the re.opening <br />of the Bay Trail, and the City's request for reimbursement from the State and federal <br />governments. Mr. Jermanis announced that the City will be sponsoring a shoreline <br />cleanup event in which the community can volunteer to participate. <br /> <br />. Minute Order No. 2006-012, Motion to Continue the State of Local Emergency <br />Resulting from the Winter Storms of 2005-06. (2648) <br /> <br />The City Council approved the continuation of the state of local emergency <br />resulting from the Winter Storms of 2005-06. <br /> <br />M/S/C Badger and Nardine.
