Thcse amendments affect single- and two-l~llnily <br />developmcnt in the rollowing Zoning Districts: Residential Singlc~Family (RS and RS-40), <br />Residential Single-Family, View Preservation Overlay (RS-VP), Residential Duplex (RD), and <br />Residential Outer (RO) and for any singlc-l~llnily development that may occur in a Multi-Family <br />or Industrial districts (amendments would apply to additions to pre-existing residences only in <br />Industrial districts). <br /> <br />A joint Hoard or Zoning Adjustments/Planning Commission work session was hcld on October <br />19, 2006, with discussion and direction given to staff. Thc Board of Zoning Adjustments <br />reviewed this matter at its December 7, 2006 regular meeting, forwarding a recommendation to <br />the Planning Commission. At its Decelnber 14, 2006 meeting, the Planning Commission held a <br />ruhlic hearing and formally recommended approval oCthe proposed Zoning Code amendments to <br />the City Council. <br /> <br />Rccommcndation: <br /> <br />The Board of Zoning Adjustmcnts, the Planning COInmission and staIr recommend that the City <br />Council hold a public hcaring and adopt the proposed Zoning Code amendments to Articles 5, 17 <br />and 24. <br />
