Roll Call <br /> <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Lothrop, Nardine; <br />Mayor Young <br /> <br />ABSENT: Council Member Loeffier <br /> <br />2. PRESENTATIONSIRECOGNITIONS <br /> <br />A. Presentation to Howard and Eleanor Kerr commemorating their 50th Wedding <br />Anniversary . <br /> <br />B. Presentation recognizing George Silva's Retirement from the San Leandro <br />Municipal Band. <br /> <br />3. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br /> <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br /> <br />A. Howard Kerr, 15388 Norton Court, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />flood channel cleanup effort by the County of Alameda. He also remarked on the <br />FEMA Flood Hazard Zone and the impacts to the residents in the area. He <br />indicated the financial impact for insurance for residents ranges from $500 to a <br />$2,000 increase in their costs. He indicated the people in the flood zone would <br />like to challenge the maps and need help from the City in order to do so. He <br />asked if the City could assist in getting copies oftract maps, site maps, and curb <br />
