Ronco, Dan Walters <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. <br /> <br />1. Overview of Marina Harbor Operations and Capital Requirements <br />2. Presentation on Privatization of the San Leandro Marina Harbor <br /> <br />Assistant City Manager Hollister reported that items one and two on the agenda will be <br />handled in one presentation. He then introduced Public Works Director Bakaldin who <br />presented information on initial harbor construction, berth and vacancy data, siltation in the <br />channel and harbor, improvements needed, and a breakdown of revenue and expenditures <br />from harbor operations. Additionally, he reviewed past proposals for privatization as well as <br />recent improvements in the Shoreline Recreation Area. A copy of the powerpoint <br />presentation is attached. <br /> <br />The Committee requested a list of money owed to the General Fund by division - Golf <br />Course, Harbor Operations, Shoreline. <br /> <br />The Committee discussed the status ofFEMA reimbursements for 2006 storm damage. <br /> <br />A discussion ensued regarding nomenclature used for the harbor vs. the Shoreline Recreation <br />Area, along with the possibility of changing the committee name back to the Shoreline <br />Committee. <br />
