Review of Draft Request for Qualifications for a Master Developer for the Shoreline- <br />Marina Area <br /> <br />City Manager J ermanis reviewed the process to date and reported that, as scheduled, a draft of <br />the RFQ for a Master Developer for the Shoreline - Marina Area is being brought to the <br />Committee for discussion. He then introduced Assistant to the City Manager Battenberg who <br />explained the goals of the Master Developer RFQ approach in developing a comprehensive <br />plan for development of the 40-acres of waterfront at the Shoreline - Marina Area. Manager <br />Battenberg then provided an overview of the RFQ by section, including a review of the <br />pre development relationship, project schedule, selection criteria and submittal requirements. <br /> <br />The Committee provided input on the schedule and requested increased flexibility to accelerate <br />the negotiation period, revisions to the Map of Development Opportunity to include the boat <br />harbor, a modification to the references section to include similar projects completed within the <br />past ten years, and other minor revisions. The revisions will be incorporated into the document <br />which will be brought to the October 9,2007 Shoreline - Marina Committee meeting, along <br />with a list of interested developers. <br />
