Continued Discussion Regarding Shape-Up San Leandro Program District Application was approached on their participation in the program which would include in-class instruction. The union declined to participate and the district, therefore, will not pursue the grant. Councilmember Gregory regretted that the grant was not going to be pursued, but commented that the City and School District should continue pursuing local measures. Mayor Santos pointed out that the City used to have recreational and inter-mural leagues up until th 2. Continued Discussion Regarding 9 Grade Campus Gymnasium City Manager Jermanis reported that he examined the possibility of City Redevelopment participation in a portion of the gymnasium, assuming that it was a joint-use facility. Using information from the Engineering and Transportation Department, he believes that a 50% City contribution would be approximately $2.2 million. President
