Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Lothrop, Nardine; <br />Mayor Young <br />ABSENT: Council Member Loeffler <br />2. PRESENTATIONS <br />None <br />7. NEW BUSINESS <br />E. Matter of Update on San Leandro WORKS, the Welfare Reform Community- <br />Based Project. <br />Nancy Hillis, gave an overview of the San Leandro WORKS Program and <br />introduced Rose Johnson-McCammon who gave an update on what is being done. <br />Virginia Fox and Tom Guarino, representing the San Leandro Chamber of <br />Commerce, also gave a presentation on how the business community will be <br />involved. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Public Hearing Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person. When you address the <br />City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and submit it to the City Clerk so the <br />order of speakers may be determined and an official record of names and addresses <br />obtained. <br />
