CALL TO ORDER <br />A. Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag <br />B. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Glaze, Grant, Loeffler, Lothrop, <br />Nardine <br />ABSENT: Mayor Young <br />2. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Public Comments are limited to 5 minutes per person, for a total time period of one <br />hour. When you address the City Council, you should fill out a speaker card and <br />submit it to the City Clerk so the order of speakers may be determined and an official <br />record of names and addresses obtained. The public is invited to make any comments <br />related to Agenda items, or other items of public interest, at this time. <br />A. Dana Johnson, 343 FarreAy Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />budget and encouraged the City to not give up the garbage business. He <br />concluded by stating he feels the cutbacks in the budget are due to financial <br />missteps taken by the City. <br />B. Robin Ehlers, 778 Joaquin Avenue, addressed the City Council Representing <br />the Estudillo Homeowners' Association, and stated her opposition to the City <br />Council's recent action to change the Zoning Code for a safe house to be situated <br />in a residential neighborhood. She asked the City Council to begin the process to <br />limit group homes in R-1 zoning. <br />C. John Faria, 2410 Lakeview Drive, addressed the City Council regarding the <br />garbage issue and expressed concerns regarding the deficit in the Enterprise Funds. <br />He stated the deficit should not continue and should not have gone on this long. <br />He questioned how the proposed rate increases will affect that Fund. <br />
