CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. <br />A. Roll Call <br />PRESENT: Members Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak, Stephens; <br />Mayor Santos <br />ABSENT: None <br />2. RETREAT TOPICS <br />A. Welcome and Introductions <br />B. City Council Vision Statement and Values <br />^ City Council Goals for Fiscal Year 2009-10 <br />The City Council discussed the goals for Fiscal Year 2009-10. There was general <br />consensus to use the same goals as the previous year, but remove the detailed objectives <br />and to move the fiscal stability goal to the top of the list. <br />C. Fiscal Update <br />^ Three-Year Work Plan; Restoration Plan Concept <br />^ Reduction Guidance <br />^ Policy Discussion <br />Interim Finance Director Perry Carter presented the current fmancial condition and <br />reviewed the next several fiscal years including the Three-Year Work Plan; Restoration <br />Plan concept, and an overview of reductions. There was further discussion on a <br />potential `golden handshake' retirement program; general discussion ensued related to <br />future projects and projected costs associated. <br />
