Commendation for the San Leandro Garden Club in Recognition of Their <br />35th Anniversary. <br />Maurine Kislingbury, Margie Duarte, and Bunny Funtrum were present to <br />accept the Commendation. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />A. Matter of A-97-11; Reclassification from IG Industrial General District <br />to IG (PD) Industrial General Planned Development Overlay District; and <br />PD-97-9; Planned Development to Add a Convenience Store with a Drive- <br />Thru Lane for Beverages; i.e., Coffee, at an Existing Self-Serve Gas <br />Station; 2180 Merced Street, Northeast Corner of Merced Street and <br />Marina Boulevard; Assessor's Parcel Number 79A-338-4-8; RHL Design <br />Group, Applicant; Nella Oil Company, Property Owner; IG Industrial <br />General District. <br />- Motion Approving the Rezoning of A-97-11 to IG (PD) Industrial <br />General Planned Development Overlay District and Approving the <br />Planned Development, PD-97-9, subject to the Conditions of Approval. <br />- An Ordinance Reclassifying Certain Property Herein Described as to <br />Zoning District and Amending Zoning Map (A-97-11), 2180 Merced <br />Street, Northeast Corner of Merced Street and Marina Boulevard. <br />- Pass to Print <br />This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br />matter, Elmer Penaranda gave the staff report and explained the proposal <br />in greater detail for the Council. <br />
